What are some awesome places you have traveled to? Why did you like them?

Personally I've never been outside of the U.S. before and hope to change that soon, but one of the coolest places I've gone to was Pikes Peak, Colorado. A 14,000 foot mountain with a train ride that goes up to the very top. At the top, there is a gift shop and an amazing view of the city of Colorado Springs below. The sight was outstanding and I greatly enjoyed it.

Miami, because they have lots of great Cuban food and white sandy beaches.

Vietnam. Despite what everybody says, it's an amazing place. The street food is good in Saigon, but I enjoyed the little village near Hue. I have family there, so it was really fun and hope to go back soon.

I just came back to NY from living in Georgia (USA) for about a year. The southern food was banging and I loved the peace & quiet but, that's about it.

Heading to Iceland in a month. Will let you know how it is. Did Puerto Rico last year and had a blast.

Iraq was a really interesting experience. Both times. If you ignore the war, you know.

can't say no to the small village life of Poland.... For some reason the ice cream there is really good too, when the major city or small towns are over 13+ hours away.

Italy is my favorite. I've been 3 times and on two of the occasions, I've bicycled through the countryside. My dad and I stopped and took some photos in a small village (maybe population 300). A couple of locals saw that I was wearing the Maglia Rosa and stopped to talk with us in broken English. And being Americans, our Italian was very broken, but we had a very pleasant conversation and before we parted ways, they wanted to shake our hands, as if we were celebrities. I really have a big place in my heart for the Italian people.

Traveling by train up the Swiss Alps to Zermatt in summer 1985. I went skiing on glacial ice on 14 July 1985. Amazing views of the Matterhorn from different sides... Unbelievable
