Did anyone else get their free upgrade today and download it? I just finished installing it this evening and have been playing with it since. Such a nice upgrade from Windows 7.

I was going to, but I decided against it because many games I play are still being modified for Windows 10.

Never ever get the first out roll of any operating systems upgrade. Always wait for the bugs to be ironed out and hack fixed.!!!!

I've been messing with the beta for a while. I went ahead and bought it tonight and did the reinstall in a VM.

How is it better than Windows 7?

Windows. Hack never fixed. Bugs always in system. Like live on edge, get new eye candy more now.

I'm waiting for a few weeks at least. Just want the basic flaws and issues to get ironed out before I bother upgrading. Plus my laptop is already on 8.1. My desktop might stay windows 7 though, I play too many old PC games for windows 10 to work well.

They have a short memory, but it's clear they do this every time. They get comfortable with the awesome version, then over-extend and rush to market with something "revolutionary" (shit), and then spend a couple years fixing it to get the next stable version before they crash the whole company.

I got sick of it when Vista came out and I've been on a Mac since. Virtualize that shit.

I've had it reserved for free on my lap top untill its available, maybe later today it will be ready to load. I have no idea if It will be worth it or not.

So far I really like it. Everything is moving really smoothly. I'm not much of a PC gamer anymore so I don't know how much that would be affected by the new windows. My google browser seems to be loading pages smoother and faster though.

Did some small gaming last night after I installed it didn't seem to notice anything happen or drop in performance

I keep getting a random small blank screen trying to load every 30 seconds...pops up and gone within 1/2 a second

It works fine as long as my stuff isn't on it.

Probably your cmd. Sometimes that happens to me and disappears. It's no trouble and auto exits, and though I have no idea what it's doing👌

I've been dealing with something similar on my lap top recently but, I figured it came from trying to use Bit Torrent. Im still not sure. I had Windows tech people look at it. They told me that I could fix it at Best Buy for around $300.00 or with them directly for around $200.00. For that price I could buy a new starter lap top. :/

Have you tried installing Malwarebytes or superantispyware?
