does anyone read them? Have any favorites? I've never really gotten into them. I own Ghost World, which I got as a teenager because I love the movie. My friend just lent me Blankets by Craig Thompson and I've been reading it for the past hour.

You make a lot of threads, but they're interesting.

This is how GD used to always be. New threads daily, sometimes 2 pages of them. People participated in conversations, debates, discussions. We got to know each other; we developed relationships; we made human connections; we made a community. You make a lot of threads, but they're interesting.

V for vendetta and watchmen great by Alan Moore, somewhat dystopian and political but they are great movies and even better to read. The last man was cool too, about a plague that wipes almost all men off the earth except for him because his monkey is enchanted(actual monkey, not a metaphor for anything else) maus by art Spiegelman is a good one too, it's a recount of the war experiences of a holocaust survivor but all the Jewish are drawn as mice and the Germans as cats.

Stitches was a memoir of a young cancer patient, David small. And fables is a comic series about the characters from childhood stories like little red riding hood and Snow White, but reimagined in a New York setting as actual people. This ones really cool cause some of them are junkies some are in financial debt etc.... There's murder and such

Little Prisoner was one of the most harrowing books I've ever read. Made worse by the fact that it's a true story. I'll never read it again
-

👆🏻 or anything by Neil GaimanThe sandman series.
For the record, I'm not steeped too deeply in graphic novels but I have read most of this series. And I loved it. Gaiman is highly regarded by many authors and intellectuals as a great and mythic writer. You won't be disappointed.

Death looked upon what the mortals of the TW forums spoke of, and felt grim satisfaction at the mention of his creator.
"WHAT A FANTASTIC CONVERSATION FOR AN AFTERNOON."
