Anyone into jumping out of planes? Just done my first jump, tandem but wow! Can't wait for next one!
-
Haven't, but I've always wanted to. I'll try a bungie jump first lol
-
I reckon bungie would be harder but still fancy doing one. Surprisingly I wasn't nervous at all, straight out the doors.
-
After cliff jumping from about ~55ft and getting a perforated eardrum haha no thanks😁
-
I've done two, one over the alps in Switzerland,15k feet and second florida 18k. I've done bungee jump in Switzerland 450 feet. But I'd love to do more skydives.

Would love to do skydiving (obviously starting with static line jumps), not so keen on idea of tandem skydive though

Former paratrooper. Never done a free fall, but did love jumping! 👍

Static line is least appealing, no free fall. That what you do it for! Only got about 40 second free fall I believe but felt like 5 seconds. When parachute is open the piece and quiet is something else. Definately would like to do it on my own.

I've done the 'sky coasters' at a few amusement parks - they drop ya from like 200ft attached to a cord and you free-fall for some feet before the cord catches ya and you swing from there on - next step for me is prob skydiving - glad u had a good time!

Static line from 4300 feet. Biggest adrenaline kick i ever had

My buddy got real into last year, hes done 86 jumps in under 365 days and now has his own chute and just started flying wingsuits lol. Seems like its quite addicting, I'll be doing a tandem soon! Glad to hear you had a blast!

Same here. Nothing like rigging up with 600 of your best friends and stepping out into the night. After the noise and bustle on the plane then the chaos of exit the few seconds of peace and quite as you descend are incredible. Unless one of your balls is caught in your leg strap. 😜Former paratrooper. Never done a free fall, but did love jumping! 👍

I don't know if they still use Steiner aides to help with assembly, but I jumped the Steiner aide once and it caught on the door as I exited. I must have been spinning the whole times my chute deployed. Is was still bicycling, trying to untwist my risers and suspension lines when I hit the ground. That was the only time I rode all my equipment in to the ground. Hurt like hell. (I always rode my weapon in.)

Never heard of a Steiner aid. I'll have look that one up.
-
I've jumped and totally understand why you want to do it again. I want to get certified.
-
Once you skydive you join the few that have experienced one of the biggest adreline rushes. How long before your smile went away.
-
I'll skydive only if the pilot passes me with HIS chute. I'm going to go up front and see if I can coast it in first though. If not, then I'll jump.
-
I haven't done it yet but, its one of the few things on my bucket list. :)
