That's fair. We have 3 dogs. They get terrified by them. We just moved to a small town. They were banned in city limits so they didn't have to experience this. They're all in the bedroom on edge with my wife. She's already told me we are staying home tomorrow to give them comfort

Used to dress up in winter gloves and use garbage can lads as shields every summer as we used Roman candles as weapon to fire flaming balls of molten chemicals at eachother.

I have a slightly healthier respect for them now but still love to hear the body shuddering thuds as they explode overhead.

That's nice. I know someone that would put earmuffs on his dog so he wouldn't get scared from the fireworks. It seemed to work.

One of my grandfathers listens to loud tv during the 4th. The explosions remind him of Vietnam.
