  You're stuck in a hot ass car for hours and enduring lots of g force. I don't like NASCAR, but its definitely a sport.

  Sport definition = an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment.

  So I guess both can be classified as sports in a sense, but if you come up to me and tell me you are a sports star and then inform me you play Xbox.. I will laugh in your face, whilst at the same time hiding my jealousy.

  Have you tried "Heroin Hero"? Lots of Guitar Hero musicians use it to mellow out between sets.
