iPhone battery issues
Forums › General Discussion › iPhone battery issues-
my wife's iPhone will not hold a charge. She won't hardly use it all day and the battery is almost completely dead. Is it better to go to AT&T where we bought it or go to the Apple Store to get it replaced? It is less than a year old.

At& t won't do shit for you. Once you purchase an iPhone, you have to deal directly with apple the minute you step out the door.

Sometime just backing up the phone and resetting as new phone and restore does the job. Worked with my iPhone anyway.

My 5s started discharging faster after the new update. I'll try Mav's suggestion

Heartbreak ... Apple offers a free battery replacement for certain serial numbered iPhones ... I'll see if I can find the link again to check ....

Get a Droid Turbo 😏

Thanks for the input. I'll try resetting it and if that doesn't work I'm off to Apple. I might need to pack a meal since that place is always full.

I have the 6 Plus and it is the best phone I have. I was a huge Android guy but the screen size was quite appealing.

That reply was irrelevant. But yeah, go with Mavs suggestion.

Resetting it work for my tablet. I still don't know what happen in the first place.

If you plan to fix it i HIGHLY suggest not using apple or a electronic store unless you don't mind spending the extra buck. Buying a part and replacing the battery on a iphone is not to hard i had just watched a youtube video and replaced my 5s battery and no problems since. I paid $20 at most

I'd rather the dodgy iPhone battery.

Heartbreak💔Kid I set an appt on line with the Apple Store and it doesn't matter how busy they are they get you at your time or before. I have only had a couple of issues in 4 1/2 years and they always fix it quickly and free! 👍🐢.

Same happened to mine, and then the battery ended up blowing up inside and gave the iphone a more aerodynamic look to it.
That was the reason I ended up going for a driod. I need to be able to switch a battery out because it will go bad over time.
I agree, get an andriod.

You ever think that maybe, just maybe, having your wife's vibratory hard wired to the phone might be causing some of your battery issues? Apple's gonna wanna see that set back to factory settings prior to even taking a look at it.
Good luck & let us know how you make out.
