I'm going to New York in four weeks for four nights. Apart from the touristy bits. Anyone recommend going anywhere or anything like bars, restaurants etc. . I'm coming from England, if that helps in anyway.

I'm from NY, and I'll tell you some god spots.

Restaurants in Manhattan
-cafeteria
-blockheads
-Tony di Napoli
-brgr
-tompkins bagel

If you go to the borough of queens, Astoria is really nice and has good lounges.

The city overall has great bars
(Meat packing area is probably the most congested)

World Trade Center 1 is opening. Observatory deck DEFINITELY go only 32 dollars

Don't go to Staten Island, nothing there.

The Bronx is alright, I don't go though.

Go to Brooklyn, there is a bar called berry park with a rooftop and is really nice over the weekend. (Bk) go to a restaurant by that bar called fushimi.
