So I'm selling a few things on Craigslist and it's my first time doing so. I'm meeting someone tonight who is picking up a computer monitor. Regardless of the item being sold, how do you feel about meeting up with absolute strangers to sell them things?

Only time I ordered something from Craigslist, the guy got arrested for illegal possion of a firearm on the way... I haven't used it since.

It is a scary thing but there are good people out there that's legit and only want to buy the item, nothing more. You can never be to catious though. I recoend someone tagging along with you to watch your back just in case something dosent go right.

Bring someone else with you too that is trustworthy ie a family member.
My dad bought a pop up camper. Brought me along with him to carry the money, concealed of course. Since you have a product I would suggest stashing it somewhere like you're vehicle with someone keeping watch over it

Wife sometimes sells crap on facebook, some local group thing. Mostly sports crap the boy lost interest in or outgrew.

Anyway, there are 2 grocery store parking lots that have camera signs. There is also an ATM machine (which bad guys know have cameras).

I tell people to meet me in the NW corner of the lot or whatever, make sure I am parked directly line of sight from the ATM.

If it's a baddie, most likely they'll just keep moving when they see that they are likely on 2-plus cameras.

If the person can't make it at lunch or on a weekend during daylight, fuck 'em, wait for someone else to buy it.
