Any guitarists on here? What is your rig and what kinda stuff do you like to play?
Guitar: Schecter Hellraiser C-1 FR
Amp: Marshall JVM-410C
Pedals: TC PolyTune 2, Dunlop CryBaby, EHX Metal Muff, Tube Screamer, MXR Carbon Copy, TC Hall of Fame, TC Ditto Looper, Digitech DropThat's my rig. I play a lot of metal and rock (anything that I find technically challenging, I'll play really) but I also love a lot of jazz and ambient music and I'm not a complete stranger to funk either.
So, come on guitarists, let me know some shit about you.

Im learning how... Does that still count for a cookie?🍪

Dean Razorback, Fender Stratocaster, and some Ibanez Acoustic. My amp's a Marshall (no clue what model). Don't have any pedals yet 😕
-
Strat, Ibanez Jem V, fender deluxe, vox cambridge, variety of pedals, pod XT, plus a crappy old acoustic that tears your fingers up but which sounds awesome when you actually get a note out of it

I've got a bunch from my days of playing in bands - two Gibson Les Pauls, a Telecaster, a Stratocaster, a Vox 12 string, and a P-bass. Mostly, these days, I play my Taylor acoustic through my Fishman Solo Performer. The electrics I run through either my Fender Hot Rod (series 1) or my Jet City amp, with a FloorPod Plus for effects. Simple, easy, but sounds good, and very versatile.

Is the NS-2 any good, mate? I've been thinking about getting a noise gate and at the moment I'm thinking either the NS-2 or the MXR Smart Gate... any recommendations?- Gibson Les Paul Standard

Aye. I really wanna start on pedals. I've been playing for a while now, (long enough that playing EVH is a breeze), but I've been using cheap equipment this whole time. (Think Digitech)∞-№ɵƔӓᏲ-∞ wrote:

I've got no experience with the MXR, but I can tell you I'm really happy with the NS2. It does exactly what I want it to do.👻⋆℟ꇎῃઙϮƎя⋆👻 wrote:
