HTML for fixed size fonts in forums

Anyone know how to get courier font or something fixed size (other than tt) to display in forum posts? Was trying to format my big list of 3 character codes in the invite forum, but all that works was the tt,/tt pairs which are kind of hard to read. Thanks.
