I'm not. What it seems to me is that he's taking advantage of the Democratic Congress while he's got it to make a law that'll give him and the Democratic Party support that they aren't going decline. It's gonna be a mess later on when the Republican Party tries to fix it.
Just my two cents, take it or leave it.

He has the power to give executive orders and we the people voted to give him those powers for the meantime.
(Post script: I'm not saying that you personally think its bad or good for him to give executive orders. I'm trying to show my argument over a good point you brought up)

In 2005 in response to increase border protection measures by the U.S., Vicenzo Fox, president of Mexico famously said that Mexicans were doing the jobs that not even the blacks want to do.

About the same time, Mr Garreson, third grade teacher famously said "can we get rid of all the Mexicans"

I say we just invade Mexico and make it part of America. We already have 20 million of their citizens here and are giving them money. Just take the whole country and that fixes the whole immigration problem. You're welcome.
