Where I live Northern Utah, I've been paying $3.79 a gallon all summer. Now the average has dropped to about $3.19 a gallon. One time last winter, I payed $2.98 a gallon. But I still wish we had Venezuela's gas prices @ $0.03 a gallon. Norway, though, pays ~$9.00 for a gallon of regular unleaded.

Strange thing is, for the past few months, mid-grade unleaded has cost more than diesel.

2.60. I just paid 1.80 per gallon for using my store points towards 80 cents off per gallon.👏👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉🎊🎊🎈🎉🎉😄

9mmHEADACHE wrote: Funny you should mention Venezuela. Venezuela needs the price of oil to be at least $100 per barrel to make their economy work. Any less than $100 per barrel and their economy is in serious trouble.Where I live Northern Utah, I've been paying $3.79 a gallon all summer. Now the average has dropped to about $3.19 a gallon. Similarly, Russia's economy is very sensitive to the price of oil. I think dropping oil prices will be more effective at curtailing Russian expansion than all the economic sanctions imposed since the start of problems in Ukraine. I won't be surprised to learn, years from now, that today's falling oil prices were caused by multi-national efforts to lower oil prices to defund Russian aggression.

(Don't get involved, don't get involved, fuck it, get involved). If minimum wage goes to say $15 an hour, what's the cost of a loaf of bread going to do? Raising minimum wage doesn't help people making minimum wage and actually hurts anybody making more than that. It devalues the dollars I make. The (jobless) recovery we are experiencing is because of oil and gas now. You realize how many jobs have been created due to the rise in oil prices? I pray it hits $110 a barrel next week!

Just a quick "did you know", America doesn't export a single drop if crude oil. Even if we produce 200x what we need, by law we can't export it. That's why there are 2 prices on oil. Now we can process the oil and ship gas, but not oil.

Well, working at Kroger and allowing people to buy things with my employee-discount-enabled card has built up enough gas points to get me below $2. I should just stock up while I can. 😂😂
