Recently had a guy named Freemason blow up and reset cause I took 5 turfs. Told him he was a disgrace to the real Mason. Said he never heard of him so he must not have left much of a legacy. Wanted to kinda make a thread for the newer guys for us to shed light on what the game used to be. So, post a name and tell the newer folks what made them legendary.

My first one personally would be smokemonster. When he decided to put you in his sights, it was over. He hopped from Mississippi to Houston one night to fight Mystery and left a 400 mile hop trail up just to show he was coming. Watched him flood Half Moon Bay with about 1000 turf one night just to cap out Beim and bunch. Top 10 best players I've ever played beside. More to come :-)

Funky Buffalo. He was very popular and contributed alot to the forums before he got forum banned, he made some very classic threads. He was also the founder of the Funky movement™ a movement that was focused on being the "bad guys" a very successful movement while it lasted. He know has a very high mob count. He's also a lawyer(a sexy one I might add😂😂😂😂😉😎) and he is terrible at fanasty football. I have won his league the last two years and about to win this years league also

Beim- had the chance to get hit by him and xambler once in Minnesota. Had put some graffit up and refused to take it down. Even with my whole alliance trying to ER him and a 60k+ mob helping me, lost every turf in about 8 min. Never have I seen that coordination from a guy (other than my clan mates - five oh and yomamma shout out). They were both forces and the game lost great players when they laid it down.

DVC- had the honor of not only calling him a clan mate, but a friend. He really taught me how to hone my sniping in Half Moon Bay with Kilgore Trout and so many others. We had a running joke on Pal. Every time he logged in I'd say "what's up homo" and tell him it was auto correct and apple just hated him. He was old school before they even built the building. Tragic lose. Here's to ya brother 🍻

Johnson Mob- never a more dedicated fighter. Wherever in the world he was needed, he always seem to show up. Seemed like the man never slept. You could tap a turf anytime of the day or night and he would message ya within 5 min. Understood range just about as well as anybody I've met. Never resorted to mini mobs or other exploits, just knew how to play the game. Even though he's a big bully 😜

Swag- you kids have it easy now. Swag (and mav) set the bar on hopping when most of the current players were on iPhone 3s. Don't believe me? Look at her hop trail to Alaska. This was before the google map and an airport up there. Made the whole trail (as far as she could go at the time) a rick roll message. Want to test your dedication and endurance? Follow her hop trail. She also had the courage to come out of her snell on an online game full of bullies. True courage. And did I mention the first player with 1 mil influence? And the turf pile after her mom died will never be matched. Ever. That's how a legend plays this game.

Lol mason reset me back in the day. After that he and I had become at least decent with each other. He helped me a lot on this game and definitely got me headed in the right direction.
