A Muslim man, attacked a person in New York City, and wrote a letter stating, "America's military is strong abroad, but weak here". Will we see more lone wolf attacks in the USA from Jihadists and ISIS sympathizers?

There's nothing in any news articles to indicate the attacker was Muslim. Where did you get that information?

I was disappointed , that our general of out military has decided to tell our military if your off duty not to wear uniforms until further notice. I feel give our military sidearms we are at war we should not let these terriests win these moral victories!

Having soldiers not wear their uniforms off duty seems to be a common sense thing to do. When I first joined, we were not permitted to wear our uniforms off post, except to stop and purchase gas on our way home or into work. Over time those rules were relaxed, until some soldiers were walking around the mall in uniform. I preferred, not to go around in uniform while off duty. Of course, exemptions can always be made, for instance, if a soldier wanted to wear his/her dress uniform to a wedding, parade, or ceremony.

As for arming soldiers, if they want to, they can apply for concealed carry permits. The same as any other a authorized individual. Soldiers are not law enforcement, and most, military police being the exception, do not have training in enforcing laws.

They already said on my local news (nyc) he was a convert to Islam. His Facebook page was all about anti authority. They are already calling him a self radicalized, home grown terrorist. This happened maybe 5-10 mins away from home. Concerned, hell yeah I'm concerned.
