ok guys i just downloaded steam pretty new to it just want to know if there is anyone else out there that plays on it and any tips for a beginner

Standalone is literally the glitchyest thing ever. It's absoluly awful. Don't buy it till it's patched wayyyyy more. Till then arma 2 dayz is amazing and ain't dead at all. Arma 3 life is great also
