select a turf. hit Attack button. and be sure you have all green check marks next to the qualifiers

That means your closest turf is not close enough for you to attack.

Try planting a turf closer to the one you with to try and capture.

Actually, before you do that, add mob. You aren't going to capture anything with 7 mob members.
