I am sorry Brizz but it seems to me the problem with your water has more to do with contamination then the lack of water itself. That seems to me to be a problem that could be better addressed with the local Government regulations. I am not sure how complaining about the folks who dropped a bucket of water over their heads in Florida will help you at all.

Um does this mean kunk and weed won't be doing the challenge. Sorry about the course this subject has turned. I sure didn't mean to upset anyone. I donated 200 dollars and did the challenge, nominated some people who I know in real life on this game, and thought to just honestly call them out in game. Sorry to start such a feud. Whew, I'll send a 3-4 dollar case of water to WV or where ever they need it

All I have to say is.... I live in WV and I took the ALS challenge and donated to the cause. 3.5 gallons of ice cold drinking water dumped on my head and then to the slab of concrete I was standing on. Yep. I said that. 😜

I think some peeps missed the point of what Brizz was saying. Everyone is too busy being all "aaarrrgghhhh she said helping ALS is stupid! Kill with pitchforks and fire!!"
As ALS directly affects people in this thread, water shortage affects me directly. California is currently experiencing one of the worst droughts in history. Were under a water quarantine at the moment. The picture is bigger than "oh I'll send a case of bottled water to whoever"
It's the point that fresh drinking water is quickly becoming a precious resource and the challenge is viewed by some as wasteful. It's about awareness. Not "how does me dumping water on myself hurt people in Ethiopia"
Obviously it doesn't. However people that have a steady supply of running water take it for granted. That's brizzs point. And btw I have a niece with ALS and it breaks my heart. The challenge doesn't bother me either way. If people wanna do it and it makes em feel good then fuck it do it.Ok now let my crucifixion begin.

Bottom line, I don't take too well to someone attacking a medical charity that I support, especially if it's one that affects my family directly. I also don't take too kindly to the PM's you sent me. If you want to raise awareness of an issue that affects you and that you are concerned with then I might I suggest starting a new thread outlining the details if your concerns, rather than attacking the methods used to support this cause. If you don't agree with the method why not make a suggestion for an alternative. You could've stated your argument in a less aggressive manner and not have belittled this challenge by referring to it as trendy little girls in wet tank tops.
