On the one hand, it seems like it will have the original cast playing the main characters, which I think helps. Otoh, sequels this far removed from their predecessor often scare me 😐 will the movie be able to live up to the nostalgia?
Either way, I'm definitely excited to see grown up Lydia deal with Beetljuice!

I can't wait! Hope it doesn't disappoint too much. Beetlejuice is one of my 5 year old daughters favorite movies. I see a daddy/daughter day coming soon!

I soooo want to be excited about this, but why can't I shake the concept that Hollywood is hopelessly out of ideas and just reinventing things in a desperate money grab? 😬

I dunno. I see your point but I hope that's not how it turns out. Winona and Michael Keaton are coming back. That's a good sign, I think.
