Go to Christiania. It's not what it used to be, but you get a sense of the hippie spirit it once was. Then after an afternoon of the Free City, treat yourself to Noma, one of the best restaurants in the world. And then take your girlfriend or wife to Georg Jensen and get her a nice piece of bling. Finish the day (since it's light way late) with either a bike ride or a small boat and bottle a vino on the canal. A perfect day!

Your thinking of Amsterdam I think they have a huge red light district and it's legal to smoke weed in a cafe there.
