Ive have gone through alot of threads and i keep hearing about "wars" in certain areas, now i have been playing this game for about 3 weeks so i still kinda new in a certain way, do these wars start up by a game coding? Or do they start becuase of players? How do i get in a war? And what is it like in a war? If you could please answer these questions i would be a lot less confused. Thank you.

Wars are started by players. Three common scenarios are...

...A player or small group acts or says things in a manner that the turf wars community disapproves of, usually bringing many players together against 1 or several. Overt racism (eg. someone went on a rant about Tajik and lost all his turf in a couple days. A "funky movement" stated intent was to target and eliminate small and inactive players)

..."Alliances", informal (not part of game programming) groups of players will either fracture internally or decide to end relations with another one-time friendly alliance.

...A single player or group of players will aggressively try to dominate a geographical area or leader-board. Wars have been fought over dominance of airports or to reduce someone's standings on the influence or fight percentage leader-board.

In most of the above scenarios, or sometimes just on a stand alone basis, insults and shit-talking often lead to wars.

You can get into a war by your own actions, real or perceived insults to others or violations (willful or ignorant) of TW customs. Which is why you often see advice like "stay off the forums and off the radar until you have observed for a while." Some of the established standards are counter-intuitive. Such as capping inactive players. Seems like a great way to grow without actually bothering anyone who is using that turf, right? Yeah. Not so much.

You can also join a fighting alliance. Read the help forum. You need to be playing a while and have mob, turf, stamina, etc. before being a factor in a war.
