Do you play TW with the phone sideways, or straight up? Most games I play make you do sideways, but I prefer TW straight up. Sound off!

When we first began playing, we used orientation lock. Our assumption, based entirely on a severely damaged memory, was that TW orientation was locked to 'up'.

When we bought ourselves a new phone, we discovered the horrific world of horizontal turfwars. We found ourselves somehow twisting our head whilst lying in bed and playing TW in an attempt to make TW look right. It failed to work. Screw you, iPhone accelerometer.

Turfwars is one of those applications that must be played vertically, much the way you play the wife vertically.

Both🐣depends on what I'm doing...
↕️Punching temp codes, and on iOS I mainly use portrait mode↕️
↔️Map, turf inventory, forums, punching regular codes, and on droid I'm mostly in landscape↔️

I do mine straight up so I look like I'm doing official business on my phone. (Note I hold it in my right hand and type and press buttons with my thumb).
