Capture ethics

Since it's really only feasible to cap from someone weaker than you, especially at higher mob numbers, does it really matter how much weaker the target is? 100? 1000? 10,000?
And suppose they have been [playing for months. Level 50, 60, 70...
Where do you draw a line?
DO you draw a line?
The longer I play this game, the more time I put into it, the less tolerance I have for those that put no time into it, and just want to bitch.
To summarize, taking TWO turf from a player is not "being a dick".

If tjere lvl 50+ and they have like 900 mob ill cap them cuz they want be lazy and not type in codes. I might not lvl up and just punch codes from now on
-
I don't draw a line myself 99% of the time I'm totally friendly amd never even cap. On the rare case that I do cap I expect them regardless of strength to take it with a smile :)

The dude that called me a dick is level 43, 800 mob. First turf dated in July.

I took 2 of his 40.

so he either capped or bought. If bought he can rebuild, if capped, he played the game. Sounds simple enough, if your to busy to mob up, your to busy to cry about it.I took 2 of his 40.

CC -amen to that.

I get at least 15 invites a day, and I don't post my code. But I do bump my invite post daily. thats 450/month right there.

I agree, I hate players that don't put any effort it but expect all the rewards.... I'm all for protecting noobs but at some point they need to be pushed out of the nest and learn to look after themselves...

The fastest way to teach someone to fight is to kick their ass, right?
You don't get beat on, you never learn. I was almost wiped out of my own home area by a visitor when i started playing. Now there are only a handful in this game that can attempt to wipe me out.

cap. Now
u either mob up. Or make allies to compensate for lack of mob. Play smart. Children. Not safe.

Two lousy turf is not even close to being a dick. The sheer numbers of players at higher levels with mob under 1000 who've been playing for months is amazing. It's actually more the status quo around me. So...if we were to refrain based on those criteria alone we might as well hang it up. I pretty much only spare those new new new players who are actively mobbing and laying turf and the few allies I have in the game. Otherwise I'm reasonable and often attempt diplomacy, but come on...waaaa. I expect to get attacked, capped, etc. Why not them? Somehow some players do seem to look at the time and effort I've put in game and think that it's no big loss for me to give up that position as opposed to them. I just don't see it that way.
