Just curious, now that Sky Sports are broadcasting Gaelic football and hurling to an international audience, has anyone from the TW community taken a sporting interest or started to follow these native Irish sports?
Watching a report just now that said the All-Ireland football and hurling finals have the 5th and 6th biggest live audience on the planet.
Gaelic games are played in many countries around the world but is not very well known so just curious to see has anyone taken an interest?

Would never miss them Deadly.Bars in Madrid fill up with both Spanish and Irish to watch them.But I prefer by far to get home to watch the matches with my da,though he stands in front of the box most of the time,haha.Kildare or Tyrone for the football and I have always liked Tipperary for the hurling.

My brother in law is Irish and plays hurley I havnt seen him play yet... But I would watch it and see what it is about

A buddy of mine hurls. His team went to Ireland a year or two to compete in a tourney. The locals gave him a warm welcome at the pub and sound thrashing on the field. Sounds like fun.

I agree, although it is nice seeing reactions outside of Ireland.
I watched the Munster Final in Amsterdam last week.. Apart from the obvious Cork fuckers there were plenty of Brits who had taken to the game! Good to see 👍
Also, hurling is the greatest sport ever.
And come on Meath for the Leinster Final tomorrow.. Fuck you Dublin 👊

i did some hurling couple nights ago. after a long night at the bar, made it back home and my flower bed got most of it. not sure i would want that aired on tv but ive seen worse.

I've done some hurling. When I did two beer bongs in a row
One night I drank a whole bottle of Yukon Jack. Serious Hurling that night.
Did the same thing with a bottle of Rumplemintz. Hurled all morning and day messing with those sweet 100 proof liqours.
