Interesting point, there's been a ton of rumors and watching some of the ref calls in Brasil games, they're not entirely w/o merit.
I'd prefer Argentina to win, but I think Germany outplays them.

Brazil will win and no not because it will be fixed, they play hard for their country and will play even harder for Neymar. Remeber Brazil is undefeated on their soil since 1970s

I'm hoping after the independence vote Britain can get its shit together and put together a national team and scrap the home nations teams. At least I wouldn't suffer as a Scotland Fan and might see a Scotsman other than a referee get passed the first round of the World Cup.

I don't understand what that means, that they have been undefeated on their own soil. That's just stats. Who gives a f###? Unless they have some super power and/or referee assistance, it'll be tough for them to pull it off against GER. My opinion having watched them play.

Van Gaal is a tactical genius so you can bet he'll have a plan to keep Messi quiet + Robben and RVP are deadly up front. But their defence is weak and the return of Aguero for Argentina could prove too much for them. I fancy Argentina to win that Semi.
As for Brazil and Germany, I think Brazil will actually benefit from not having Neymar as he's greedy and they become so reliant on him that they always pass to him and for me it breaks up their play so none of their attacks are fluent. Although Thiago Silva is a big miss. Germany have been relatively poor all tournament only scraping wins in a lot of games. I fancy Brazil to win this semi and Brazil to win the whole tournament. It only seems right that Brazil will win in their own country. Also FIFA do seem to be favouring Brazil as previous posters have mentioned.

Thug: what you said about Germany can be said about both ARG and BR (games against Iran and Croatia fitting for their caliber? Think not). I think both teams rely heavily on their aces Messi & Neymar. You're right about Neymar being selfish, my first thought when he fell was that he was being dramatic because he didn't score.

So as my barista keeps calling them, maybe the "Hollish" ppl deserve the win the most.

I don't think Argentina will manage to stop The Netherlands. Their defense is slow and the whole team is actually slow. Just need to make sure Messi won't receive the ball, with Di Maria out of the way....
Neither do I think The Netherlands will win. Germany will kill Brazil. Brazil has been terrible, they do have the home advantage, but Germany is strong in every line. They're fit, well organized and all class players, great coach. So in short: Germany will win the Cup (tough to admit being Dutch, but it's true)
