Same. But just zoom in the direction you wanna go and zoom out the opposite way.

It is a visual timeline. Go to NY NY and you can see it work. If you are in the sticks and trying to see stuff it may be a map until the first turfs are built. Or you may just have a craptastic web browser --> IE
