Are they a bannable offence? Especially in a small Eco system (small city / island)

Supposed to be, especially if used in a vendetta. But actually it is very hard to prove and I've never seen it enforced. So, no.

There was a time when they were bannable depending on the way they're used, last I read I saw no specific statements about them in the TOS so probably not. Might be a good idea to read that over and see for yourself.

They're only an issue if used to gain an unfair advantage.

Do bear in mind, however, that MFP reserve the right to ban any player for any reason they see fit. It's simply a legality, and understandable that they would put that phrase into ToS. Just something to remember whenever you are considering punching thousands of codes, or spending thousands of RL $$.

True but if you just use 1 account and play the way the game was made, punch, hop, etc.(without using/ looking for some form of cheat or exploit) You will be fine and have no reason to worry about silly bans!
