Don't know if anyone heard but a little town on the Canadian east coast had a man hunt for a young man armed to the teeth who killed 3 RCMP officers and seriously injured 2 others.
He never took hostages but was hidding in the woods and people's backyards for 30 hours. The RCMPs could have shot him down but wanted to take him alive.
All my respect to our RCMP who kept working when they should've been morning their fellow officers.I'm Very proud of our Canadian Police to bring this ordeal to an end and apprehended the individual and not a shot fired after the initial confrontation and to keep us safe without any additional casualty.
Next time I get stop for speeding I think I'll say "Thank you!".

He was charged with 3 counts of murder. 2 count of attempted murder and both the crown and defence didn't ask for a psychiatric evaluation. He's going away for a long time.

You nailed it on the head maverick,he should have been locked up a long time ago,but thanks to our RCMP for not being trigger happy we had a good outcome

Today was the funerals of the 3 fallen officers at the local coliseum. There was over 7000 other polices from around the country, all the dignitaries including the prime minister attending. The public was able to view the 4 hours broadcast in a dozen theatres around the tri-city area. It was very emotional but a good closure for everyone touch by this unfortunate incident.
