Hello, I have an iPhone 5 and all of the sudden it will randomly lock and/or bring up the slide to turn off screen. The lock button does not work usually and it just happened out of the blue. Would Apple replace it because it's common on them?

They should replace it. They did it with mine.

If it's under 1 year old they will exchange the device for you.
Make sure you back up everything so once you get your replacement device you can restore from icloud.

If it out of the 1 year period but under 2 years they may give you the option to send it a away for repair / review.
A replacement device will cost around 200 - 250 bucks.
