Do we really need another thread about this? We've had plenty & fairly recently.

What I'm finding online is that the US Gov owns patent #6630507 - on any and all uses and applications of: Cannabinoids as antioxidants and neuroprotectants. That's not the same as a patent on using it in any pharmaceutical product.I don't know if it does or it doesn't. Here's an interesting fact I got from watching a cable show on medical marijuana: the US Govt owns the patent on using it in a pharmesutical product.

I am sorry to pop your ballon but ANYTHING can kill you, regardless if whether it's a substance or just plain water, so just because it can kill you doesn't mean you have to ban it.So if you legalize weed, why not Steroids?? Drugs will kill you no matter what they are if you abuse them..
(I am indifferent tho, I simpely don't give any shits) -
Weed isn't as bad as some other drugs that are out there.

Although I view it as a degeberate activity, I think it should be legal in this degenerate society.

Well this is how you were made, first mummy kissed daddy on the pecker, then daddy drank some beer and after that they don't remember anything much at all. Nine months later you were born, all fucked up cos mummy drank and smoked for the entire time, and now we have you running around the streets terrorising poor old grannies for their purses so you can afford your next hit. Congratulations, you are officially a drug-fucked idiot.

How many people in the US die every year from drowning? I have no idea, but it'd be high. Now, how many people in the US die every year from smoking weed? Compared to drownings, very few. How many people in the US die every year from using cannabis for medical purposes? Practically zero. So why is it illegal in some states?

There are many good aspects to marjuana use, I personally know many people that use it medicinally and recreationally. I have nothing against that. The problem with legalizing it is not just a matter of taxes for the governments. It's public safety. No one can tell me that smoking weed does not inhibit motor skills or reaction times. Many people can smoke a little bit and be quite reasonable. That same person smokes a little more, or something stronger than they are used to and oh my, they are stoned. Try having a conversation with someone who is high when your not. You want that person driving your kids school bus? Or working in your hospital? Or driving on the highway beside you? Until they can come up with reasonable solutions to proving someone is high, legalization will always be a debate.

You can't make water completely illegal, I think it should be ok as long as your not carrying more that a glass and not distributing it. Based on the drowning numbers however, I definitely think large bodies of water should be outlawed and bathtubs will be a real grey area9mmHEADACHE wrote:

Death by association? That's a joke, right?
Air can kill by association. Murders breathe air. At least I think they do.

Lol air doesn't kill by association, what's in the air does. Death by association plays into effect here. While people may not be dying from the smoking of weed the effects can cloud judgement and ultimately cause death. Should we no longer consider drunk driving as a problem? The wreck was caused because he was drunk so the alcohol didn't cause the wreck the alcohol was associated with the wreck. The guys beer didn't grab the wheel and make him swerve into the other car xDDeath by association? That's a joke, right?

Legal everywhere. Outlaw Grimm.
I've done massively stupid s### on weed, the dumbest being smoking with high strung ppl that only get more 'strung' the more high they get, effectively killing my buzz and almost getting me arrested. 👎
