Just a quick heads up that the website (https://turfwarsapp.com/) is now HTTPS-only! Previously only the login and website Respect Point Store used HTTPS. This change enhances the overall security of the website for all users, and any older links to forum posts etc will still work. Other than that, it's a pretty transparent change, and you shouldn't notice any major differences when using the website (though some of our friends in Asia, Australia, New Zealand etc may experience slightly slower load times, due to the extra checks HTTPS adds to your connection).

Maybe this has broken something, as after the forced Android update the game is no longer functioning. Can see the map, but none of the other tabs or links are working.

Slower load time for Aussies, how much slower? Does it only effect the opening of the app?
I'm not an oz but maybe some want to know.

The change affects the website only - what you're experiencing may be an unrelated issue. Please contact support if you have any more details.

It won't affect the app's performance. As for how much slower, it depends largely on the quality of the connection between your device and our servers. Players who are geographically farther from our servers (located in the US), or players with poor network service tend to experience slower connections, which can be exacerbated by https since it has more security checks.

Will they be able to get the ones "released" between the time the site changed and the time they update their software? Meaning, if they didn't get the 4 batches released over the last 24 hours, when they fix their sites, will they get those two or just subsequently released codes?

Maybe in the future don't release a major change right before a long holiday weekend. Even if Nick's around, less of a chance that the other site admins' are.

And, clearly this has not been seamless since the 2 major sites that reliably provided temps haven't in 3 days.
