I know this isn't for everyone, but I can't get over how informative this website is:
www.detroiturbex.com
Using photo comparisons from past and present, it walks through the rise and decline of Detroit. Really well done, and really interesting.

I love Detroit. Thanks for sharing.

Really interesting fal good find 👍

I've been watching the decline up close all my life... I remember getting jumped outside a bar in downtown Detroit when I was 21

You can literally drive down one of the main roads and it looks like it's post apocalyptic with burned out, partially collapsed buildings all over the place. It's pretty interesting to see
-
Did you take a look at the website?
Check it out man, it's pretty fascinating
-
Wow very interesting! Would love to explore all those abandoned buildings!

Im from michigan. Its so sad to see how the state has fallen apart. Also its sad to see how awful detroit is. One of my friends was shot in detroit by someone who was trying to get initiated in a gang. Its quite a rough area
-
Amazing site I must say
-
Yeah that's crazy... Some of the beautiful buildings just left to rot... I think they've lost 50% of the population in just 20 years
-
I'm surprised somebody hasn't bought up buildings or land and held it till it picks up

Problem is, the worse it gets, the less likely it is to pick up again.I'm surprised somebody hasn't bought up buildings or land and held it till it picks up
Also, land in the USA isn't exactly as much as a premium in our tiny island :-(
