2014 NFL Schedule
Forums › General Discussion › 2014 NFL Schedule-
Who's pumped for the upcoming football season? Bears play the Lions on Thanksgiving (on CBS which is weird) and they have 5 prime time games. Packers start the season playing the Seahawks. I don't want to wish the summer away, especially after the longest winter ever, but I cannot wait. What are some big games for your favorite team?

GO SEAHAWKS! Super Bowl here we come!

Nah, all great teams have their ups and Down. Like it or not UT, IS the biggest brand in College Football. There is no has been when you rival the Dallas Cowboys, and New York Yankees.

Patriots are about to beat down the Redskins for their first game.

Kidding aside, it should be a heck of a game, hawks are contenders. But I think my pack has really put together a heck of a team this year and will start walking away 14+ in the 4th quarter for the season opener.

I'm curious to see how Peppers does this year. I liked him as a bear but he was off last season. Something wasn't right. I hope Bushrod pancakes him when he comes to town.Copper Top wrote:

I love the Packers Hawks kickoff game. As a Packer fan I've been waiting for that rematch since that God Awful Fail Mary night. Not going to talk trash because I really don't know how good GB is against Seattle today. Two years ago GB was the better team but a lot has changed since.

As for the Peppers signing mentioned above, I am curious to see how this works out. I've always viewed Peppers as a 4-3 D end. Now he will be a 3-4 D end. I don't know how that will work out. Worries me

As a diehard bears fan, I have to say the packers got screwed on that call by the backup refs. But I agree that the Seahawks defense is different now. That Richard Sherman is something else. Even though peppers is a 4-3 guy I'm sure he will benefit with having a guy like Clay Mathews helping him out. I am glad the bears got Allen to replace peppers. I've always respected the way he played. Watching the Blackhawks now. Nothing compares to Sunday football. 19 weeks.I love the Packers Hawks kickoff game. I see him getting put on a limited snap count as to keep him fresh through the whole season. Peppers has said multiple times before he wanted to go to a 3-4 scheme. I've seen some interviews from McCarthy stating he will be in the hybrid role of elephant. He will pretty much be roving to different spots to maximize his impact. I'm really looking forward to having another pass threat to reduce the amount of double and triple teams that clay Matthews will see.As for the Peppers signing mentioned above, I am curious to see how this works out. We'll see how bandwagon jumpers there are after Alshon Jeffery and Brandon Marshall break all NFL records this year and are Super Bowl champs.

Packers Nation sees no boundaries or borders. Our team is a team of the people, not of some deep pocketed nancies. We stand as one through thick and thin. Even if our defense has been a tattered cheesecloth the last few years.
