Random thoughts: Time

Well, there is a few things on my mind, first, to those who are the nay-sayer, too many times in this life we get told that we can't, that there is no way to overcome the thing in front of you, or no way that you will reach the goals or dreams that one has in front of them, the ones that they talk about, that in the dark of the night they picture themselves doing, or at, or being. Well, time is one of those things, (i am off topic, but will bring it back to what i was saying) where most think is linear, they think that it is static. But what i see is that time is fluid, if one was to look at a picture, it is more like the Northern Lights, fluid, changing, dynamic. It is consistently changing colour, shape, density, direction. It is controlled by a force it cannot control. Now, in our life, we can control certain points in our timeline, however, which each change that we make in the time line, whether direct or indirect, consequential, or inconsequential, intended or not intended, points in the future...

are changed. And, causes events, both foreseen, and unforeseen. It is truly like a tactical engagement, the moment that the weapon is presented, it changes the chain of events that could happen. Now, that statement brings up a thought, is presentation of such weapon worth it? In most cases, yes, but, that brings up another thing, is the fight worth it, and, is the one in the fight trained enough, and willing to face events that come up as results, either direct or indirect from the engagement? That is a question only the presentee can answer, as only they know what level of preparedness that they are at. Now, if here is the thing. There is an active threat, and is imposing on either the one threatened, or, the ones that they care about/love. And, there is a third party saying that they can't, and although the individual that holds the weapon has full training, willingness, understanding, and "high ground", if they back off due to the nay-sayer telling them that they can't, does not that null and void...
-
all that the one worked for all that time to prepare for a random point in time? No, it is not something that we as humanity want to think about, but, it is a reality. Now, take that same individual, now the circumstances are not an active threat, but a challenge, to get better at what they do, and that same nay-sayer tells them that they can't, and the individual backs off because of the negative feedback, though the individual is fully equipped and prepared for what laid ahead, did that not null and void the possible chain of events in the future? Well, take those questions, and apply it for life. It does not have to involve a weapon, a threat, a challenge, but our day to day living, when we let either another, or even their own self talk them out of going forward on some thing that has a possible good affect on the timeline, if they back off, does it not null and void what the individual dreamed for, trained for, tested for, reached for?
-
Then, what then happens to their life's? Does it spiral, or do they attain something new to reach for? It is up to the person. Well, to draw this down, so oft in life i know that i have been told that i can't, and, then backed off. It has affected so many points in the timeline, but, reaching forward, i realised the error in backing off, as there is a major negative impact on life. But, here is one other thing, not all events done will impact in the intended way. Sometimes, the "best of intentions" have a way of backfiring, it is up to us to mitigate the damage control, to push forward, but to keep a lending hand out. Such is life. The main thing in life is not to give up. As though the fight may be hard, at times some may say that the feats are impossible, one must understand that there really is no such thing as impossible.
-
I did get argued of that point, an individual told me that yeah, look at us flying, but that brings up a question, we fly with the aid of an aircraft, right? We can keep that bird a flight for many hours... So, no, that is not an impossibility. Life has to be approached with that mindset, and with that attitude. Just know that the nay-sayers attitude, and their person cannot last. It will fail.

I really tried to read this post; but, alas, there was no time. I read it a second time and found that I only lost more time. Time and again, I found myself out of time and realized how time itself could fly without the aid of an airplane. This simply confounded the time it took me to have a wonderful time as I wasted my time, time and time again.

Reader A,gripping his tankard of ale, nodding his head slowly (from the drink or from a concordance with what the OP wrote)spoke,"All is possible in a world of infinities.Nothing is set in stone".His loud belch seemed to hammer home the declaration.
"That is abstraction at its finest",declared reader B."He has spoken at length yet I still fail to understand his problem."
"Nay",came the rapid reply between swigs.
Reader B,scratching his wide head,"Ah,so you are familiar with the ideas represented?"
Another great belch,"I wasn't listening." -
Fuck that, I don't have the time.

Too much to read.
Ain't nobody got time for that! -
I got to the 4th word in the first sentence before I started scrolling down.
That's 50% better than typical.
I think it probably has something to do with the content. I need a vagina or a blow job, right out of the gate, to really grab hold of me and keep me firmly engaged in the rest of the fluff. -

If I followed you right, which I definitely might not of, google have a whole team set up based on this ideology. They also explain the concept on an article I read once in a much clearer way.
Basically if you don't attempt the sometimes seemingly impossible it will never be achieved. Throughout time in almost every world changing invention someone has turned round and said it is not possible.
This google team basically come up with the most ridiculous ideas and then try and make them work. They often don't achieve there end goal but they invent some pretty incredible stuff along the way.
What it all comes down to is if you don't challenge yourself to achieve difficult things then you won't achieve the things you wish to achieve.
It really doesn't have anything to do with time though. -
I tried to read all that, but my perception of time must be too linear to get through it all.
-
Many people may think time is linear but I doubt many think it's static.
If you subscribe to the parallel universes theory, then all the different possibilities already exist. If you don't subscribe to it, you are making an awful lot of assumptions.
You can't possibly know what the future holds. You can't say that because someone didn't choose a certain path at one point in time that nothing will ever lead them to that path again. You can't say that there won't be equally beneficial consequences from not doing something as there would have been from doing it.
-
For someone that thinks time is fluid, you seem awfully fixed on static moments. Saying not doing something in one moment makes all their work up to that moment null & void says to me that you don't think much of people. Life is a lot more than just a few important moments of time. It's the journey, not the destination.
