Read this if you're experiencing connection issues

  Turf Wars is currently experiencing a DDOS attack, and as a result some players may experience difficulty connecting to our servers. We are working to mitigate the attack and hope to have everything working normally as soon as possible.

  If your device is timing out when starting up Turf Wars, you may be able to regain access by switching your device to Airplane Mode, then waiting several seconds, and switching out of Airplane Mode. Rebooting your device may also help.

  I've also been wondering today. But I have now found out that I can not connect to Turf Wars over Wifi. If I turn off wifi and connect via 3G, I'll come clean. Strange

  Well the airplane mode on and restarting my device seem to work. I'm in now.

  Let's ask for the IP address from who the attack came from & use LOIC to teach them a lesson.

  Too bad the law enforcement may knock on your door for that though.

  I have now tried 3 times. Flight mode on, phone off and on. Airplane mode again, but it works for me no longer with Wifi, only over 3G. 😓

  Ok problem fixed. After the restart of my router TW works now with wifi and 3G again.

  You should consider using prolexic, or some other protection. Is this the first attack?

  DDOS means Distributed Denial of service. It a method of a cyber attack that involves saturating the target machine or server with external communications requests, so much so that it cannot respond to legitimate traffic, or responds so slowly as to be rendered essentially unavailable.

  I'm on but the speed is inconsistent.

  I can't imagine why anyone but a disgruntled player would do this. Yet a disgruntled player doing it would just be pathetic, IMO. It's not like anyone is forced to play TW, lol.
