With Gas Day beginning, Miss Cris from Turf Tales News interviewed a couple of the bigger players currently getting the brunt of gas day festivities.

First up is Chucky Pancamo.
His only comment for this edition was, "Spread the word I'm discounted and targeted, I want 5 digit notifications when I regain consciousness."

MC - How's it feel to be a target in a v for "noobs" to get a swipe at you?
F - LOL I guess Saba figured he would test out my anger management training.
MC - Do you anticipate a lot of hits?
F - Probably
MC - Are you planning to take your loot down to protect it? Or just take the risk that people jumping in and out if the v won't destroy too much?
F - I am taking the risk. I can always cap back what I lose from Saba.

His advice for newer players, "Take down loot, especially around bigger players and remember it is nothing personal. Unless Saba v's you up."

Next we have Maverick.
MC - Are you worried you'll lose a lot of loot?
MAV - I make 3.3 billion an hour so I don't really care about loot. I must have 100s of each that I didn't even deploy.
MC - Have you had many people complain to you about being capped in previous years?
MAV - Nope! Not really. I only cap those at war or allies. Gas day is like any other day.
MC - What about players coming to you about being capped by other players because of your mob count?
MAV - I get a few of those almost every day. The only thing that frustrates me is those noobs trying their first HH on the first name they see on the leader board. I used to reply to most of the questions but now I refer them to Human Resources.
MC - I can only imagine how frustrating that is. Do you have any advice for the players out there experiencing their first Gas Day?
MAV - Don't take it personal, it's just a game and if you're not having fun you shouldn't play.

Last up is Sabasaul.
When asked for a comment on Gas Day Saba had to say, "It's always nice to see some of the bigger players embrace the true spirit of Gas Day and not give a shit for 24-48 hours of getting capped, ER'd, etc. Let's be honest, no one enjoys being capped. Everyone cares about losing turf. If you truly didn't care about getting capped, then there's really no point in playing. The point of Gas Day is to just take a step back and have fun blowing shit up and getting your shit blown up. Inevitably, there's always some players (both big and small) who don't get the concept of taking a step back and are far too attached to their circles. They tend to get bitch and often paint a larger target on themselves than if they had just sat back, relaxed & watched the show."
MC - How many turf do you anticipate on losing as you're on discount this year?
S - I expect that I'm gonna need a lot of plane tickets in the foreseeable future.

MC - Have you had many players raise a stink about turf you've capped in previous years?
S - Nah, there's always the occasional grumbling but for the most part they just take it and move on. I've never been a super aggressive capper on Gas Day honestly. I'm more of a loot hunter. Lol, I don't care what your size is, if I'm in range of your loot on Gas Day, chances are it's going to be mine.
MC - Any advice for the newer players celebrating Gas Day for the first time?
S - Yeah, try not to take it personally. Don't be disrespectful when capping or being capped. Don't go overboard capping others because there's always someone bigger than you. Most importantly have fun. Take a chance and ER some big boys. Send a happy Gas Day message. You'd be surprised on what type of connections can be made by chance encounters like that.

There's still time! Come on people you could own a Maverick or Mystery original! And it's not true that I keep a list and cap 10 turfs for every turf I lose. 😜
