Just a few days ago news circulated amongst the fighting community that yet another long time turf warrior had reset. Pretty Boy, the mid sized 30k fighter was a member of The Commission, and was well known to his enemies for his arsenal of 15k brens. PB was formerly a member of the "Freedom Fighters" alliance, and could count friends many of the games major alliances, even amongst those he was currently fighting. TTnews caught up with PB for some commentary on his recent reset:

PB: "Leaving the TW community is such a hard decision to make. I have met all kinds of people from all over the world. I have actually learned several things from this game such as time management. Being able to juggle six classes, 50+ hours a week working, family time, and still having some hardcore action on the map. I remember when I first joined TC. Bad News, Indy Pacers and I all thought it would be a good idea to join two of the largest alliances in the game. It was our thought that TC and the stars would never battle. I don’t think we could have been more wrong.

The war where the stars and all the help they needed to fight TC was probably one of the best things to happen to TW on the map. There were too many good guys and not enough bad guys so why not have good guys against good guys. I started to like the game so much that I was spending too much time playing the map. My time management was out of balance and I was spending large amounts of time that I should have been utilizing on my classes. The only thing I was worried about was when my cap limit was going to be lifted. This game is an addiction that I had to break for the sake of the next couple years that I will be finishing my Bachelors and Master’s degree. The time after that I need to focus on building my career.

Leaving TW was like when I left the military, like I’m leaving a family behind. It is only a game like this that I can carry on a casual conversation with someone while capping them. I could not have asked for better people to be in this community. It is not because of this war that I have decided to leave but rather it being the time that my family needs my full attention for more than a break would satisfy. I wish the best of luck to everyone and their future inside and out of the game.
I will try and pop in here and there but I believe this is it for me

What the Funk?!?
Last week Funky Buffalo unexpectedly dropped tags, leaving The Commission alliance and exiting the "Witching Hour" war. Citing personal real life priorities, including caring for his young family, Funky told the TTNews that he could no long give TC the time and attention they deserve for their war efforts. Following his departure from TC, Funky has received a number of alliance invitations. For the time being, however, funky is choosing to remain solo and explore peaceful projects in the game.

Updates on the Italian War
An inside source provided an update to the TTNews on the Italian war front. For several weeks remnants of the twfc alliance in cohort with midnite and various allied groups had been working to secure the island of Sicily. A massive wall had been erected on the island, as well as a blockade on the mainland.
Baic and their allies in NWR and WSS had arrived in Italy and advanced on the Sicilian strong hold. After gaining a foothold, baic and co. advanced on their long standing enemies and now completely control the island.
