The story of the third Wolfe brother
Forums › General Discussion › The story of the third Wolfe brother-
Once upon a time, there were three brothers Wolfe. This is the true story of our brother Johnny.
Johnny was a pretty normal kid for a while; he did the things normal kids do, sports, video games, you know.
In 2006, at the age of 10, Johnny was diagnosed with stage 2 throat cancer. He went through Chemo, and was declared cancer-free in 2008.
However, our insurance company only paid minimal coverage, and we were forced to sell most of our things to cover the costs. Just as we were recovering from this, though, Johnny was diagnosed again in 2010. Because we had no means of paying for treatment, we just had to hope for the best. Things went well for a long time- better than expected.
Seemingly out of the blue, Johnny's cancer flared up again in late 2011. It would claim his life on the 14th of December, 2011.
Today, February 10th, 2014, would have been his 18th birthday. You don't have to do anything special- just reading this is respect enough. Post similar stories below, if you want, but please be considerate. -
Thank you for posting this Wolfe. I cannot say how it would feel to be in the position you were forced to be in and so cannot begin to express my sympathy to you for having to go through this or my admiration of you with your approach to the issue.
All i can say, is you certainly made me once again feel that you should value your loved ones and let them know as often as you can, just how much they mean to you.
Thank you Wolfe.
