As a whole he is amazing as of recently not so much.

True, he was the first big name white rapper for a long time. But he's not even close to Tupac, in terms of legacy. And even Macklemore has changed the rap game more than Eminem could. Eminem's songs have similar beats and similar words. I like some of his stuff.

To everyone else, Eminem was absolutely awesome back in the day. I still really enjoy cracking out some of his older stuff every now and then. As someone said earlier though, TuPac still wins, IMO. Absolute legend right there.

Your all forgetting the old school of rap like, biggie, tupac, eazy e, big l, big pun , they changed rap the was rapping about life events when lyrics of a song ment some thing. Not how many cars you now have or how much money is in the bank . eminem is good at what he does but Macklemore . Don't insult the thread

I hate Macklemore, but you can't say he isnt revolutionizing the genre.
