Today is Australia's national holiday 'Australia Day' and I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that Australia is the best country in the world!! Now have go have a drink to Australia and I'll throw a sausage on the barbie for you!!

I've had a great Australia Day, with family and friends.... It is a day to celebrate all who have contributed to the best country in the world.

Special congratulations to Adam Goodes on being named the Australian of the Year. A sportsman of amazing abilities but also a gentleman who fights against racism.

I saw a comment once that was to beat a man with a gun you just need a bigger one.. To that I'd out an example. the man with the just bought bazooka gets taken out infront of the shop by the guy with the sniper.. Did the bigger gun help in the end? Or would it be better neither of the 2 had a gun and just punched each other they both be alive t least and family's happier that they are. I'd much rather live in the country where only the law enforcement carry em and not everyone. On lighter side Happy Australia Day all hope you had a great day 😄

Gun violence in 2012:
Australia - 16.34%
USA - 39.6%

..... this equates to 142% more than Australia
(Ref: Bureau of Statistics)

Or mass murders (being 4 or more murders in the one event) since 1996, Australia = 0.... USA, multiple each year....
