All you people in the freezing cold areas. Do you let your dogs outside when it's -20 degrees?

My dog poops in the woods no matter how cold it is. I better not find turds in my lawn come spring. :(

Ya my dog is a boxer (very short hair) and he goes outside to do his "business". It's only -18 here now, we're having a heat wave ATM, but yes he always goes outside, he usually does his business in 2 min or less in the winter even when it's -40 to -50 with windchill

I had to shovel my backyard for her to go. First time I ever had to do that before. She kept lifting her paws in pain so I felt bad.

I'm sure my mini-Doxie would freeze instantly, so I just set up a nice little puppy pad for her. The little princess won't even go out in the rain let alone snow and these insane temps. Yesterday was the coldest it's been in my town in almost 40 years!

We have "real" dogs! A 72 pound Labrador-doodle and a 70 pound Golden who run out and pee quickly when it's really cold but they love snow. 👍🐢

My pit mix has no issue. I call him a snow badger lol. My little Italian greyhound is a wiener. He goes out there but he hates it. I believe he holds the poop if he really doesn't have to go until he just can't anymore. About once a winter it appears in the basement floor. *shakes head*

Same here. Our boxer has no issues getting her business taken care of and high nubbing it back in.

I just let the dog poop on the carpet and hit it with a shot of VA-POO-RIZE, but I do gotta say I often wonder "Where's the $#!+ go?"

My old lab/border collie mix (16years old) goes out and shits in the driveway. He pisses on the deck though. But only if there's a ton of snow or it's really cold. I have to snow blow a path through the yard for him so he doesn't take a dump next to the jeep.
