I have been toying with the idea of resetting for over a year now but even more so since hitting one million influence in April.
As much as I used to enjoy this game, it simply isn't for me anymore. Between work, family, and health, I simply need to move on and devote my attention towards things that truly make me happy.
While playing, I tried to play as I am in real life, but most of all, with some sense of integrity. While at times, I fell short of this, I truly did my best and I appreciate all of you more than you know.

As much as I would love to do a turf giveaway, the thought of watching what took me a year to do get slowly picked apart, does not set well with me. If I'm going to go out, I want it to be on my terms and how I feel it should be done. I know that my reset will blow massive holes in the map, more specifically airports around the globe. But hey, it's a war game right. I have been fortunate enough to surround myself with good people and exceptional players so I know that while frustrations may occur, it's only because I love and care about each and every one of you. If I didn't care, I would simply fade into the backgrounds. Plus, where's the fun in protecting what you care about if there isn't a little struggle along the way. With that being said, please understand that the holes in the map will only encourage all of you to push forward in a game that I can no longer take part in.

All in all, I have made some great friends along the way. Some of my best memories of this game come from players whom I have never even met...Travdog...Razor Edge...and of course, Mystery. I have also enjoyed getting to know many of you personally and developing friendships outside of this game, Fubar in particular.
Rather than be upset with the departures of players from this game, we need to celebrate their contributions and the legacies left behind no matter how big or small.
So on that note, I bid you all farewell and the greatest successes any of you could hope for.

You've been one of my best friends on TW for about 2 years. You are one of the few people I can tell anything. You've helped me so much, with so many things. I can't begin to tell you how much I will miss you. You're just a great guy. Anyone who has ever thought otherwise doesn't really know you (and is probably a troll).
There's going to be a huge hole in the game without you (not just on the map either, lol). Our mob numbers may stay a little higher, but sadly it's because you won't be removing the riffraff anymore. (I'm sure you will be quite relieved not to have to deal with the crazies anymore.) Thank you for dealing with all those "less-desirables" for so long.
I wish you the very best in real life. Take care of yourself and your beautiful family. I hope to keep in touch with you on Pal. Have a very Merry (and relaxed) Christmas and a wonderful New Year.

Instead of reset and delete, I would like to be a part of the community for at least another couple of hours before deleting. That way I can say a few last goodbyes.
