PS3 help anyone

I just bought a used ps3 but it started making noises. I just started playing it and the fan noises got louder. Is this normal or does it have a problem. It's not crazy loud but it can clearly be heard from the other side of the room. If anyone can help aw see itthatwould be great.

Vacuuming mine out made it a lot quieter. More than I thought it would.

I wouldn't use compressed air myself unless I had the ps3 opened up.
When you vacuum the system you are getting rid of the dust bunnies, when you used compressed air on an enclosed system all your doing is blowing the dust bunnies around and likely making your situation worse.

My PS3 does that all the time. I just turn it off and leave it to cool down

Amen. But to help prevent it from being loud dust the system everyone and then and never leave it running when ur not using it. Try air compression also

If you use compressed air make sure you put a reducer on it so you don't damage it. Also make sure you unplug it just in case you have moisture in your air.

The ventilation is most likely poor. May be from a strong amount of dust particles gathering inside the ps3 or the location it is in provides little to no ventilation. If it is laying on carpet or something of that sort, you may want to move it. If the problem isn't fixed, it could possibly lead to a fried graphic card or something of that sort. I wouldn't use an air compressor or anything like that, just a small cleansing tool- and even then be Very careful not to scratch up parts inside the system (so something soft is recommended).
