I haven't played in like 2 years and just made this new account, I was wondering if I missed something? When I quit playing no one big was in the area

The winter update includes zombie turf. Basically infected turf that touches any other turf will slowly reduce down to 1 influence.

I believe the Ohio area you are referring to is one of several areas that big players are setting up to keep out the infection.

Wow thanks for the info Mason. I need to go back and read the update info again. But seriously who in their right mind would go to Ohio? Ok players from Ohio.. Both of you.. don't get all hurt...it's a fair question.
