Because they were an arguable favorite to go to the super bowl in the beginning of the season and they have been just absolutely decimated with injuries. I can't recall a team with so much potential sustain this many injuries, in key positions on top of that.

I wouldn't say they were predicted by many to be superbowl bound. Heck, Cutlers back up, McCown seems to be outplaying him and Cutler may be on his way to a new team next year.
Also, they don't have as many injuries as the pack has. Packers are on their 4th string quarterback. Have put up 4 running backs to miss considerable time, IRing 2. Rotating guys in and out of positions on the O-Line. At one time was down to two backup linebackers playing with no others backing them up or rotating out, which includes missing star player Matthews. Played a few games with no 1st string receivers, IRed our other star player Finley. Safety position has been stripped. Every position has been decimated.

Favre's not hurt, his geelings are. They should've brought him back 4 weeks ago and they'd still be Super Bowl contenders.

No just no. You realize they have a lot of different injuries in Off. and Def. and not JUST their QB.
