So my mom, sister and I are heading to California for Thanksgivng to visit my grandma before she passes. We are stopping at the Grand Canyon and also spending 2 days in Vegas before ending up in Bakersfield.

I'm trying to find other interesting things to see/do while heading east on I-40. (Besides planting turf!!)

Any ideas?

The caverns are totally bad ass. Make sure you stay til dusk so that you can see the bats exiting the cave to hunt. It's like clockwork and completely intense! Note that the caverns are in a pretty remote location (4-5 hours south of 40). Not sure if taking I-10 and heading north to the caverns on the way home would be any closer. Check google maps for specifics. Whatever the case, enjoy your trip my friend! 👍

When I was last there, they had a snack bar where u could get a hot dog and a coke 800 feet under the ground. Gotta love it! ✊

We will be leaving San Diego on Friday morning and taking I-10 home so we can pass thru Roswell.

Drop some turf in NM we can always use the income from more players. Often our smaller towns have few players.

Thanks for all the ideas. Keep them coming. We are staying at the Stratosphere and I plan on leaving a huge trail of turf dropped along the way. Which restaurant does the Chef work at? I'm excited to meet Chaplin as well!!!

There's meteor crater if your into that. Also if your an Eagles fan you can stop in Winslow. (Taking it easy statue) if your In Vegas I would drive the exotics on the Vegas racetrack 😎 see if you can beat my top speed.
