In the following weeks the TGS homeland was under siege from enemy players. Tallyho and Duair where the only large players to offer assistance. This was immensely frustrating to TGS as they had fought so hard in Sydney and Melbourne... And now had little support. Due to Tallyho's committment in the battle, the crew coined a title for her.... Maiden of Wollongong ( which is the home city ). In the following weeks, Uncle and lawn invited Tallyho to lead TGS and grow the group. The group became The firm. The name was put forward by Uncle and tags by Tallyho.
FAL: Tell us about The Firm’s greatest achievements

Popeye: The Firm along, with the STARS and CAPO, where instrumental in winning back Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne. This was a great achievement fighting against TWFC. The Firm was together for roughly 18 months, before Tally decided to go solo. Our greatest achievement, however, was keeping Sydney safe with the help of our allies. The Firm was also represented worldwide, with members fighting in Frankfurt, Belfast, Manchester, as well as other areas.
FAL: What happened to The Firm? What brought on the collapse?
Popeye: The Firm collapsed due to different opinions. Really, The Firm died when Tally left. I will not get into all the details, but Tally had her opinion on some matters, and some of us had a different view. But I would still like to say we are still friends with our former leader.

Since the departure of Tally, we have regrouped and have become STEALTH FORCE. This includes changes in management, with Lilone becoming our new leader. Fighting alongside Lilone is our most experienced fighter, Taz. Joining them is, Popeye, Lawn, ShizzyMac, DR Windoo, The Principal, Toretto, MonsterKhoas, King Kong, Barnett and Smasher. All in all we only lost 3 members since The Firm folded.
FAL: You mentioned Taz – he is with SF? He’s not going through with the retirement?
Popeye: Taz is back 100%. He is not retired and we are just overwhelmed that he will be back fighting with us under Stealth Force.
FAL: Can you tell us what makes Stealth Force different from The Firm? Does the new name = a new philosophy?

Popeye: We all wanted a fresh start. New name, new mobster, new goals. A fresh start. We will be maintaining our strong allegiances with The Stars and CAPO. We have setup a new structure and things will be run differently. We are trying to get our feet back on track and really pushing a recruitment drive.
FAL: What type of alliance will Stealth Force be? Social or Fighting? Or a mix of both?
Popeye: We are here to fight. Fighting 100%. No social group, we mean business.
FAL: Tell us about the recruitment drive. What type of players fit well with SF?
Popeye: We are looking for recruits every day. Any player that is prepared to fight 100%, including setting V’s and going beyond the call of duty. Potential recruits should contact me (Popeye) or Lawn.
The Principal: One thing that sets us apart from other alliances is our ability to train newer players. We have a training course online that walks players through the finer points of fighting.

FAL: You mentioned your relations with CAPO and Stars. Any current enemies?
Popeye: We are currently fighting against The Commission. Assisting our CAPO and Star allies.
FAL: Any final words or comments?
Popeye: SF is a dedicated group of battle hardened fighters with international reach. They are capable of fighting on several fronts at once and at all hours. SF is one of the only clans that actively recruits new players to the game and has trainers ready and waiting to train you in the many facets of the game. We welcome active players who are looking for a new challenge away from the old clan structures of the past. If you want to see action, you'll find it in SF.

Staff dismissal
After two missed deadlines, the Turf Tales News copy-editor, Slacker, has been released from the publication. Commenting to TT staff on the dismissal, chief editor Fallacy stated "it is disappointing to have to cut slacker loose. When his work is on time, it is well done. However, after having to scramble two weeks in a row to finish his assignments, it is time to move on". No severance package was provided.
Turf Tale News Room reaches 200 users
The [turf tales news room] hit 200 users late this week, and continues to grow. The room continues to be by far the most active public TW palringo room, often surpassing hundreds of messages per day. If your looking for some turf wars related social banter, be sure to join.

Who is ★〓🔥⌖ Viper ⌖🔥〓★ ??
The Turf Wars community was awestruck this week as the player voted "most scariest" dawned new tags. Immediately following the name change, pal rooms where buzzing with questions about what the name change means. Viper now contains the symbols in his name that are commonly associate with The Stars, Capo and The Commission alliances. The most popular theory is that Viper IS the World Alliance! When contacted on his new name, Viper commented: "We are ★〓🔥⌖ Viper ⌖🔥〓★, resistance is futile....."
Cracker fades into retirement?
After years of TW, the former CAPO founder and once leader is rumored to be entering into retirement. The whispers of Cracker's retirement comes after months of prolonged inactivity. Turf Tales attempts to contact Cracker were not returned.

Minnesota North Stars declare war?
As previously reported by Turf Tales News the Madhitmen alliance is fighting west coast powerhouses BAIC and WSS. Late Tuesday night reports were received that the Minnesota North Stars alliance (based out of Minnesota, obviously) had entered the fray, joining the fight against MH.
The Punk Resets
A well like Commission member 🔥The⌖Punk🔥 hit the reset button earlier this week. In response to questions about the motivation for his retirement, The Punk responded "Fal.. I can't be the guy I was before... I have too much going on in real life as a IT manger for a non-profit hospice. With a budget looming and the loss of friends coming I can't help my brothers in TC. THEY ARE THE BEST CREW AND FRIENDS. I love turf wars and this game deserves people who care and I'm not able to do that so I make room for the guys who will.

*the Greek was also a former Texan syndicate member and important member of the group.
*there is no order of influence within baic. There are older and newer members, but membership is more democratic that a top down approach.

Well this seems preemptive - I never said I was retiring and have never gone inactive. I check into PAL and TW daily. I'll never retire. Also, I was never contacted for a comment on this subject. So that explains why I didn't respond. I'm still active and will stay active. In the last month I've gone up in mob and capped about 400 turf. I respond to PAL/TW inquiries and usually run our weekly meeting. Also must I add - crackER is offensive, crackA is not. I must say, the rumors of my retirement are greatly exaggerated. I may not have time to cap EVERY enemy I get tapped about but I am far from done playing TW. 4 years in December for CRACKA. 3 years in February for CAPO.Cracker fades into retirement?

I WAS contacted about the alliance questionnaire, in which I DID respond, but none of my statements were used - so to say I'm retiring without comment is incorrect to say the LEAST.

Do you have a different agenda today, compared to when your alliance was started? When first starting your alliance, did you think it would be the size it is today? CAPO when it started was basically used as a vehicle for revenge for players that had bullies holding them or their area back in the game. Getch and I each had a bully we wanted to get back at. Our original mission was to find other players who were bullied by players or interested in making safe areas for income. We took awhile recruiting and learning before we started various projects. We were mostly a defensive and social group who liked practical jokes and safe areas. CAPO doesn't war as a group and allow members to ALMOST do whatever they want as long as they aren't breaking a truce or rule of the group. As we got larger a few of us got invited by other groups to help in a section of the alliance wars. More and more started helping their fellow CAPO members until you see what we have now, the fighter group of CAPO.

CAPO has changed a lot, yet still seems the same to me. I guess when you grow with it, you don't notice it as much. When CAPO was started, I never thought it would last this long (3 years in February). I never even thought I'd be playing this game still (4 years in December).
