I was going to trick or treat one last time, but (thanks to the good old "female curse") I don't feel well enough to. 😫
Hopefully everyone else has a party or some friends to hang out with! 😊

Well, I decided to hand out candy. Unfortunately, I haven't had a single kid come up. I don't know if I even have any kids in my neighborhood

Welp, I live in the middle of nowhere past a long driveway, so no kids are going to dare come here. 😜 I'm just going to watch tv and invite some friends over.

Next year. And don't forget to make a sign so everyone knows to come to your house. Put it out a week early even.

It's sad to say, but I think trick or treating is dying off. I remember, as a kid, being out for hours filling multiple pillowcases full of candy. Nowadays, it only runs for 1 1/2- 2 hours. I've heard many people say they used to get a few hundred kids and this year try got like 20.

My mom said only 35 kids or so came around this year. Of course, it was raining, but I don't see how that would be a deterrent. I would go out in a blizzard. I also noticed that it seems like it's less and less common for older teens to go out. Everyone I saw was nearly 6 years younger than me.
