...but it wasn't. I had a certain scene going through my mind from the youtube clip, and vaguely remembered the name to be [something] city. however, after doing a little research and working out that I was thinking of Rack City by Tyga, I searched it on youtube.

Wrong song.

So I'm coming you guys, seeing as the song I'm thinking of was originally brought to my attention by TW GD posters (post!) lol ... so start throwing rap songs at me! I'll tell you guys if I find the elusive bastard lol :P

No, I don't think the song is by Tyga at all. The reason I thought that it was is simply that I was discovering new rap artists at the time (rough guess, a year ago), so I most likely found both the songs and got them confused tonight whilst trying to remember the other one.

It could be by Tyga. It might not be. I actually don't know. the only clue I have is that the song is old (I think late 80's to mid 90's) and it's considered to be 'black' if you know what I mean.

"This song is so black it stole my speakers." kind of thing. And it was a fairly popular song!

So, you've got the clues, if anyone thinks they might know what song I'm trying to find, please, tell me the name and the artist and I'll advise if anyone gives me the right one!

It's just what people say. Even my aboriginal friends use that to describe some "ghetto" sounding songs. No offence meant.
