Anyone else have a poor return from punching on ICM?
I get about a 5:1 return. I don't do many of the temps, can't stand looking at all the numbers...it's like looking at the sun!
I've punched about 62k codes and my mob is 19k
What gives? Tips/tricks/advice/other welcome.

Temps, they have a great return rate. You're probably punching alpha codes so old that they aren't getting any returns at all.

much better return on temps fitz. when i punch older alpha codes i cant even see the return anymore.

I dont like the temps either.
I put 50 codes per page and keep the first 10 pages of regular ICM's punched. Thats my strategy when I do get the chance to punch

Punch all the temps. Because of their temporary nature, there aren't too many. They suck but there's a better return rate. Then once you're updated there, punch about 100 regular codes. Do this twice a day and your mob will grow by about 1K a week.

You guys are right, I've punched all the alpha codes there are, finished with that today. I usually try to punch about 50 temps, few pages of alpha, then a few pages of rank or regular. Garbage return.
I never learned proper keyboarding technique for the numbers in jr high long ago, that's another dilemma!
So I guess I need to suck it up and learn that and just hit the temps.
Seems like I want there to be a way around it but sounds like the temps are the way to go.

I do the temps and the reg codes listed for that day. I try to do at least 100 entries for each day so if there are 40 temp and 30 reg I do at least 30 more from the reg list. The older reg list are very poor return rates I think, I don't obsess I just enter. Everyone talks about the "old days" but there was a time when there were 300-400 temps a day.

I put in 200 codes(150 temps and 50 regular) that took me like 25 minutes and I've gained 101 mob so far. Pretty good returns. It's the temps, the more you punch them the faster you get.

Get a Bluetooth keyboard with a 10 key for numbers. Or just a 10 key separate. Then learn the numbers with one hand. Big difference.

The 50 temps in 25 min was on a Bluetooth keyboard! going to look into that separate 10 key. Have been using the Bluetooth keyboard for about a year and a half.

I would say 25 temps on 1 page takes about 2 1/2/3 minutes. So between 5/6 minutes for 50. I use a laptop and my phone. 👍

Temps take some time to get used to, but it's worth it

Mickey, Vish, thanks I got a good laugh out of that! I just really stink at using the number keys! Been punching temps more so the last few days, gotten it down to about 5 min for 25 temps. Really just hasn't done many temps at all in the last year. No wonder for you guys, your mobs are huge!
P.s. tried the cushion idea, skip it it doesn't help as much as you think.
